Criticality Assessment and Technology Selection Process is designed to:

determine the criticality of each plant asset based upon the consequences of failure (loss of function)
identify the relevant CBM technique/s required to prevent against failure

A Monition Specialist will attend site with a CATS Process Monition Tablet. The main attributes to this process are that the developed CBM workload can be agreed based on a true understanding of the impact of each asset (in terms of potential failure) will have in the Business. This knowledge allows workload to be targeted and made manageable (Risk Management) depending on the level avoidance (criticality) that each site wishes to achieve. The correct techniques will be selected to help mitigate likely failure events, and well derived (appropriate) frequency setting for monitoring will be established. This will provide a 'Best Practice' Platform for all future developments.
