The Role:

The position will suit an experienced sales engineer from a technical product/service background. Mechanical or Electrical engineering background would be an advantage. You must hold a full/clean driving license.

The ideal candidate would have a technical sales background or previous experience in the selling technical products, control hardware and software or similar into industry, although full product training would be provided for a candidate who can display the necessary sales skills. Working as part of a small but busy team you will need to be confident self-motivated, with strong planning and organisational skills.

Field based within a Midlands territory and with a head office based near Worksop, Nottinghamshire this is one of a number of sales placements planned as we grow. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the territory through existing and new accounts. While leads are generated from existing channels, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to work a database and develop a territory strategically. Results orientated and ambitious with a demonstrable track record versus sales and margin targets this is an opportunity to develop within a company with ambitious growth plans and an outstanding range of in-house products.

Role Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be:-

  • Internal / external pro-active sales development
  • Technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Sales planning and achievement of sales targets
  • Pro-active sales promotions and product demonstrations
  • Technical assistance to customers
  • CRM Database management
  • Liaise with suppliers and technical support to ensure offers meet customers’ requirements

Location:

  • Worksop, UK Travel expected

Equipment & Benefits:

  • £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Commission + Company Car + Health Insurance
